About our Classes

These classes are offered online to support your regular practice of mindfulness meditation. Jon Kabat-Zinn, a pioneering leader in modern mindfulness, reminds us that mindfulness is no good as an idea, it is something that we need to practice. And the more we practice well, the more we practice!  

We practice being in the present moment, without judgement. We become more and more skilled in freeing ourselves from being caught in thoughts from the past that influence anticipations for the future and bring much of our stress and suffering. 

POP-UP Mindfulness Class at Flourish Movement Studio, Mullingar
Monday 20th March 8pm 
Join us in-person for a special pop-up mindfulness class in Mullingar. The theme is ‘Cultivating Balance’.  As we meet Spring Equinox, a timely reminder to explore how mindfulness practice supports our cultivation of a sense of balance.  We will explore the theme through guided sitting meditation, mindful movement and reflections.  Open to all.
PRACTICE Mindfulness
Online series to support your practice of mindfulness meditation.

Maybe you’ve taken a course previously or perhaps read about mindfulness or practice with app-guided meditations? These classes offer the opportunity to receive live guidance and exploration of your practice through inquiry into the practice with a qualified and certified mindfulness teacher.

Whether you are new to mindfulness or seeking to sustain your practice in a small group setting with a live teacher, these classes will include a guided mindfulness meditation and also explore joy, gratitude and compassion-based meditations with group dialogue and inquiry time, sharing experiences of practice.

Each session is live on Friday evenings  (8.15 – 9.30pm) and includes a talk on the class theme, a live guided practice on the theme, an opportunity to dialogue on our experience and reflections of the practice and a closing practice.

What we practice grows stronger and though we may ‘know’ we gain from regular meditation and mindfulness practice, practising with the support of a certified teacher and group of like-minded beings helps us to stay connected with a practice that is best for us in each moment.

Additional Information

Many of us may not be able to attend in-person classes and online sessions offer a way we can stay connected.  All sessions are interactive and live. 

The online classes will be held using a free videoconferencing application. To receive the link to the session you need to register using the booking form in advance and then you will receive the link to the class.
