About our Classes
Different classes are offered for those beginning to learn mindfulness meditation and those who continue to learn.
4-class series to support you in beginning to learn mindfulness meditation.
Perhaps you have heard mindfulness meditation is ‘good for you’ and are curious to get practising but not yet ready to dive into an intensive 8 week course? There are many versions to choose from so where do we start? Perhaps you have followed some short guided meditations on apps and are curious to extend this practice?
The ‘begin’ sequence of classes are specially designed by a qualified and certified mindfulness teacher and are offered to help you to learn mindfulness meditation. The classes are informed by the world-renowned and evidence-based Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course and may serve as a foundation course to get started on your mindfulness journey.
Class 1: Grounding in the Present Moment
Class 2: Looking at Perception
Class 3: Discovering Movement
Class 4: Resting in Kindly Awareness
Each class is minimum 75 minutes. Included are MP3 audio recordings and notes for home practice between classes.

DEEPEN | what next for MBSR graduates?
4-week online series to support your continued practice of mindfulness meditation.
Perhaps you have some experience, as a graduate of the 8week MBSR course or similar and are seeking to grow and deepen your practice of mindfulness meditation?
The ‘deepen’ sequence of classes are specially designed by a qualified and certified mindfulness teacher, in response to the experience and needs of the group to support your motivation and strengthen your relationship with your mindfulness meditation practice.
These classes will include weekly guided mindfulness and also emphasise joy, gratitude and compassion-based meditations with group dialogue and inquiry time, sharing experiences of practice.
The main live session is on Friday evenings (8.15 – 9.30pm) and includes a talk on the class theme, a live guided practice on the theme, an opportunity to dialogue on our experience and reflections of the practice and a closing practice. An additional practice session the weekly theme is on Wednesday mornings (8.15 – 9.00am) and is recorded for those who cannot make the live class.

What we practice grows stronger and though we may ‘know’ we gain from regular meditation and mindfulness practice, practising with the support of a certified teacher and group of like-minded beings helps us to stay connected with a practice that is best for us in each moment.
Onsite places are limited to ensure we can meet in line with public health guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Feel free to get in touch and ask questions too.
Many of us may not be able to attend in-person classes and online sessions offer a way we can stay connected. All sessions are interactive and live.
The online classes will be held using a free videoconferencing application. To receive the link to the session you need to register using the booking form in advance and then you will receive the link to the class.
